Hey parents! Get ready for the sugar rush!
We'll be having our annual Halloween party on Friday October 29th at 9:30 am.
We will be playing games, eating treats, and each teacher will have special Halloween activities planned for their classrooms!
Please bring your child fully dressed in costume as well as a pair of regular clothes for them to change into after the party. If your child will be bringing treats to share with the class, please make sure they are store-bought and individually wrapped. Finally, to make things easy for everyone, please label everything your child brings that day; this includes their treat bags or buckets, costumes (and all of their parts) and their extra clothes.

Parent Handbooks
We have our first 50 copies of the updated and current parent handbooks ready! If you are a current parent at the daycare and have not already gotten your copy from Isabel or Tessa, please ask!

New toys & furniture
As a part of the Baby Steps grant which we've been working on, we've finally started getting all of the new toys and furniture!
We've received so many cool things for the kids this past week... Come take a look - the kids are loving it!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT...
... KIDZ ACADEMY WILL BE REMODELING... COMPLETELY! We have new building plans in the works, expect more updates soon :)

If you collect or use Cream O'Weber milk, we have a bottle cap drive going on and would appreciate it if you could bring over your saved bottle caps! They are 5 cents each (they say "Give 'em Five" on the top) and the money will also be going towards the new playground. Anything helps!

New fundraiser... Kidz Academy T-Shirts
We have a new fundraiser going on! We have Kidz Academy T-Shirts on display to order. They are $15 each and the money raised will be going towards our new playground... we're getting there... just be patient! :)
*Colors come in red and pink with our name [KIDZ ACADEMY] and our phone number.

Welcome to SUMMER!
The blog[ger] has been on hiatus but we're back and ready to inform you all on some exciting announcements!
Now that summer is here we have a whole calendar full of fun activities for the Tricky Monkeys (downstairs with Mrs. Penny) and Jumping Frogs (upstairs with Mrs. Martha) classes. The only exception to those activities will be the field trips; children under the age of 4 will not be leaving Kidz Academy during the day.

Kidz Night Out - Easter Theme!
We will be having another Kidz Night Out this Friday, April 2nd! We will be decorating Easter eggs :) Also, we'll be doing an Easter egg hunt, so come join us!!!

New Customer Discount and Blog Updates
Dear Parents,
I'll be taking over the blog for the time being so expect updates on a weekly basis (at least!). As most of you know, Isabel is always super busy doing paperwork, talking to parents, etc., so I'll be keeping you all updated on Kidz Academy news! We'd love the support and if you could all check the blog regularly to keep informed. Let me know if you have any suggestions or post recommendations at TLaLopez@hotmail.com.
Along with that, we'd like to offer some incentives for checking & supporting the blog. We're offering a 15% discount to any new clients who heard about Kidz Academy through our blog, so parents, send any friends or family our way! We have about 4 spots open right now for 6-weeks to 2 year-olds.

Mimi's Cafe Fundraiser
Hey everyone! We're still working towards that new playground set!
We will be having another fundrasier in partnership with Mimi's Cafe (5223 S. State Street. Murray, UT- (801)261-0266).
Here's how it will work: bring the flyer in (we'll be giving them out at the center soon) to Mimi's Cafe on March 17th anytime from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and they will donate 15% from each sale to Kidz Academy! How awesome is that?! We need your support on this one so let us know if you want more flyers for your friends and family.
